Metro Vancouver Political Atlas

Federal, provincial and municipal results laid over one map, poll by poll, for Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey and Burnaby, with each city's 2026 civic election and, for Vancouver and Richmond, its swing since 2022.

The atlas map: how ABC Vancouver's 2022 to 2026 mayoral swing compared with its city-wide drop, poll by poll. East Vancouver held up better (blue); the west side fell further (orange).

What it does

One map per city, picked from the top of the page: Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey or Burnaby. Each has its federal polling divisions and provincial voting areas stacked on top of each other, with the 2026 civic results laid over them. Richmond's civic results sit on its 38 voting divisions; in the other three cities, where you can vote anywhere, each voting place's results are spread over the streets around it. Click anywhere and it tells you which poll you're in and how it voted.

What you can do with it

Compare how the same streets voted federally, provincially and municipally, see how each civic party or slate's vote swung between 2022 and 2026 area by area, rank every area by turnout, and find where the non-voters are. Every city opens with the 2025 federal, 2024 provincial and 2026 civic results loaded, and Vancouver and Richmond with their 2022 civic results as well.
